Families interested in CIS High School are invited to attend three upcoming information sessions (10/18, 11/1 & 11/15 from 6 to 7:30pm at 2160 Payne Ave.) that will give provide an opportunity to get to know the CIS High School program. Each session will feature a broad overview of the school, the enrollment process and focus on a specific aspect of the Campus International program with ample time for questions and answers.
Please note that this Wednesday’s session on the IB and College will include special guest, Paul Campbell, who is Head of Regional Development for IB in the Americas.

Our high school is now an IB (International Baccalaureate) Candidate School, with authorization scheduled for Spring of 2019, in time for all students to be eligible to graduate with an IB Diploma. As you know, this prestigious program gives students a distinct advantage in college preparation and admissions because of its worldwide reputation, rigor, and unique curricular approach.

CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) at Campus: How Extracurricular Activities Tailored to You Will Set You Up for Success
Our high school is working hard to continue the strong extracurricular opportunities like arts, music, theatre, and interscholastic athletics that are available to students in our Lower School. In addition, CIHS seeks to spark students’ interests and passions by providing more nontraditional opportunities and catering to student interests through our innovative weekly “CAS Period” and after-school activities, resulting in programs like Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts), African Drumming, Model United Nations, or Slam Poetry, as well as a burgeoning Debate Team and Cleveland Metropolitan School District’s first school-specific Crew (Rowing) Team!

The City is Our Campus: The Benefits of a Downtown Education
Campus International’s partnership with Cleveland State University provides more than just academic benefits. In adopting CSU’s motto of “The City is Our Campus”, our high school is taking advantage of its downtown location to provide students with frequent opportunities to explore the diversity of our city as well as the institutions and businesses that are putting Cleveland back on the map. In January 2018, our high school will move back to Cleveland State University’s Cole Center at 3100 Chester Ave, fresh off of a $9.5 million renovation.
